Webinar - Entrepreneurship in a Creative Field with Emily Kuvin BA '86 JD, '95
What do law, acting and journalism have to do with jewelry design and entrepreneurship? Everything!
Join us as jewelry designer Emily Kuvin speaks on entrepreneurship in a creative field, being nimble and flexible when making career changes, and creating your own path.
Emily will trace her path from Cornell, through broadcast journalism, law school, philanthropic communications to her current business and career in jewelry design. She will delve deeper into pivotal decisions along the way, as she changed careers, made life choices, learned to be flexible, redefined goals and aspirations, and how she was able to communicate that to prospective employers when necessary. She will then go over her design aesthetic, jewelry and business: which skills she took with her from journalism, law and communications and how she employs them currently.
