Watercolors and Wine
If you’ve thought about trying watercolor, but worry you’re low on “artistic talent"...or if you’ve tried it, but "just made a big mess"...this workshop is for you.
Success is built in from the start, with the right materials and patient help in a small, zero-pressure workshop. Drawing skill is NOT required (honest). You’ll paint simple, colorful flowers and fruits with plenty of demonstration and examples.
Instructor Joan Iaconetti is an award-winning watercolorist who has successfully taught hundreds of students in her “Watercolor for Absolute Beginner” classes. She has had solo exhibits at the Brooklyn Transit Museum, the New School, and the Metropolitan College of New York, and has shown in juried competitions including the American Watercolor Society, the National Watercolor Society, and the Salmagundi Club.
6:30-8:00pm. $45 per person. House wine, snacks, and all painting supplies are included in the event price. Advance reservations required by Wednesday, October 24th, at which time they are considered final sale.
