Join the esteemed Metropolitan Opera Club for a night at the Opera!

Mozart's Die Zauberflöte is one of opera's most beloved works and tells a sublime fairy tale that moves freely between earthy comedy and noble mysticism.

Founded in 1893, the Metropolitan Opera Club is a private club located on the Dress Circle level of the Metropolitan Opera House and is a unique cultural institution, providing its members the opportunity for added enjoyment of the Metropolitan Opera's world class repertoire. The Club's exclusive premises, at the heart of the Lincoln Center, offers a friendly, collegiate atmosphere.

Their members come from all walks of life and, while they maintain a strict standard of dress - men in white tie and tails or tuxedos (for which they are nicknamed the penguins) and women in evening gowns - the Club's ambiance is friendly and elegant.

Price: $250 per person plus tax and service charge.

Includes a ticket to the Wednesday, April 23rd performance of Die Zauberflöte, a three-course meal, and wine served with dinner.

Dress Code: Black Tie Optional - Black tie optional still allows anyone to show up in formal attire, but it also allows men to attend in dark suits and ties and women to wear dresses, suits, or pant suits rather than strictly black tie for men and evening gowns for women.

Menu: Members will start out with a Jumbo Lump Crab Cake appetizer with Mustard Sauce and Baby Greens.  Following the appetizer, the entree will consist of an Herb Roasted Rack of Lamb served with Parmesan Polenta, Broccollini, and Lamb Jus.   For dessert, a Chocolate Dome Cake.

The club will open at 5:30pm and begin serving at 6:00pm, prior to the 7:30pm curtain.

Please note, because this is a ticketed event, all registrations are considered final sale.  Due to the incredible opportunity, we would like as many members to be able to attend as possible.  We are limiting members to one guest each.
