Romantic Greenwich Village Tour
Looking for something to do this Valentine's Day Weekend? This walk covers the hidden streets, nooks and crannies in the Village associated with romance in literature, film and history. Sites include Grove Court, which inspired O. Henry setting in The Last Leaf'; the Victorian townhouse where Woodrow Wilson proposed to First Lady Edith Galt; the site of the first presidential wedding; locations associated with famous Village couples from Bob Dylan and Suze Rotollo to Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt; and romantic film and TV locales used in Sex and the City, When Harry Met Sally, and Friends.
Meeting point: In front of Washington Square Hotel , 103 Waverly Place, corner of Washington Square West and Waverly Place
Subway: A,B,C,D,E,F to West 4th Street
12:00pm tour. $30 per person. Advance reservations required by Thursday, February 9th at which time they are considered final sale. Participants should be fully vaccinated and mask wearing is encouraged.
