John Lennon and the Beatles New York Walking Tour
Join us on a tour of Midtown and Upper West Side, contrasting sites associated with John Lennon's confining Beatlemania era of the early 60s with those of New York in the 1970s he found so liberating. Approximately a dozen stops include the Sullivan Theatre, where the Beatles debuted in America; The Dakota, where Lennon lived and died; Carnegie Hall, site of their second historic US concert; and the gifts from Naples and Liverpool donated to Strawberry Fields, the memorial in Central Park to Lennon.
6:00pm tour. $30 per person. Advance reservations are required and are considered final sale upon confirmation. Participants should be fully vaccinated and mask wearing is encouraged. The group will meet in front of Starbucks Coffee at 1700 Broadway (between 53rd and 54th Street).
