Virtual Wine Tasting - French Classics That Set the Bar
They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. We believe this holds true in the wine world as well, seeing as wineries all over the world have made careers trying their best to emulate the great wine regions of France. Join us for an exploration of three of the classic regions that created such amazing wines they became benchmarks for wineries all over the world. The tasting will be led by Le Du Wines Event Manager and Certified Sommelier Timothy Dillon. Despite being relatively young, Timothy has been exploring the world of wine and spirits since his teenage years in France. For the past year he has focused on curating captivating and entertaining virtual tastings that not only connect folks to wines they love, but help strengthen personal connections despite the necessary physical distance. We will taste the following three wines:
- Alphonse Mellot La Moussiere Sancerre 2019, Loire - Sauvignon Blanc
- Larose Trintaudon Haut Medoc 2016, Bordeaux - Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot
- E.Guigal Crozes Hermitage 2015, Northern Rhone - Syrah
Although the wine packages are sold out from Le Deu's website, Members are welcome to register and source the wines themselves.
