World Building: Inside the Creative Process of Stan Lee's Alliances — A Trick of Light

Academy Award winning filmmaker Ryan Silbert is a writer, creator, producer, and founder of Origin Story Entertainment, a multi-platform entertainment company with a global focus on storytelling. Silbert is also the co-creator of the New York Times bestseller Stan Lee's Alliances: A Trick of Light, which started as an original, first-of-its kind audio storytelling event produced by Amazon's Audible Studios and starring GROWN ISH's Yara Shahidi. A Trick of Light of was later expanded with new material into a novel published by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt last year with the paperback available in stores this summer.

This webinar will look at storytelling across all media platforms (film, tv, publishing, audio,and more) through the lens of genre and how storytellers help make sense of the chaos of the world.  Specifically, we will discuss the creative process behind Stan Lee's Alliances — A Trick of Light and the tools used to create a new world of heroes.  Guests interested in any aspect of storytelling will be invited to present questions in this intimate look at the creative process.
