Walking Tour - Little Island and the Meatpacking District

Built at the foot of the Meatpacking District and atop the remains of an old pier, highly anticipated Little Island Park arises out of the Hudson River ready to greet the public. With 250 species of flowers, trees and shrubs, Little Island is an architectural and engineering marvel. Join us as we discover the secrets of both the island and the District. Stops include "The Tulips," "The Amph," "The Glade", The Titanic Memorial Arch, and the sites associated with Alexander Hamilton, author Herman Melville, and the origin of the Oreo cookie. 

11:00-1:00pm tour. $30 per person. Advance reservations required by Friday, April 8th. Reservations are considered final sale on Wednesday, April 6th. Participants should be fully vaccinated and mask wearing is encouraged. The group will meet in front of the Samsung store at 837 Washington Street at the corner of 13th Street. Take the A,C,E,L to 14^th Street.
