The Inauguration of Elizabeth Garrett
The inauguration of Cornell’s 13th president, Elizabeth Garrett, will be held on Friday, September 18th. The installation ceremony will take place on the Arts Quad (weather permitting) at 10am, followed by a communitywide picnic at 12noon. The Cornell Club will livestream the installation ceremony in the Big Red Tap & Grill from 10am to 12noon. Stay connected with the festivities on campus and stay on for lunch. In addition to our ala carte menu, we will offer a picnic-style lunch. RSVPs to view the ceremony are not required, but appreciated. Please note that lunch reservations are not accepted in the Tap & Grill.
While students, faculty and staff join President Garrett for a community picnic held on the Ag Quad, we’ll be hosting a picnic of our own in the Tap and Grill!
