This November, return to the real flavors of fall with Cornell’s Apple Breeding Program! On November 13, the Cornell Club will host an evening with Professor Susan Brown, The Goichman Family Director of the New York State Agricultural Experiment Station and the Herman M. Cohn Professor of Agriculture and Life Sciences.  Susan is one of the leading figures in today’s apple industry, and has been instrumental in developing new, superior varieties of one of our country’s most timeless foods. Her work helps Cornell bring apples of unique flavors and exceptional crispness to tables across the world—and also to our own tables at the Cornell Club!

This is the first of the From Furrows to Boroughs Series, cosponsored with the Office of Alumni Affairs & Development – Northeast Corridor, to showcase the many ways the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences is impacting the food industry in New York State and New York City.

Please join us for this very special event, an evening featuring a lively four course dinner, with apple varieties appearing in every dish. After all, why have a pumpkin spice latte when you can have an apple cider brandy?
