The Spy and Espionage Tour of New York
Lower Manhattan has been the groundwork for spy activity since the early days of the Republic. On this walk, we will crack the code of an American Revolutionary spy; uncover the Confederate plots to destroy New York; hear stories of the Manhattan Project and famous Cold War capture; and reveal the mysteries still unsolved behind World War spy networks.
The group will meet at the statue of Ben Franklin at the corner of Spruce St and Park Row in front of Pace University. The statue is to the right of the entrance to the Brooklyn Bridge and across the avenue from City Hall.
