Join Members and Inter-Club friends for an informative luncheon for seniors and their caretakers with Susan Sandler, M.S., R.D., C.D.N., a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist. She is an advocate for enjoying food three times a day by eating what pleases both your tastes and your body so as to maintain your optimum self!    

A healthy senior, she has lived the Sandwich Generation.  Her work is cited in Who’s Who in America, American Women, and American Dietitians. Having specialized in Geriatrics in Long-Term Care for over 15 years, she also has a sub-specialty in a neurological disorder that is an accelerated form of aging.  She attended Cornell’s College of Human Ecology, earned a Master’s in Clinical Nutrition from NYU, and completed an internship at The Mount Sinai Medical Center.    

In addition to nutrition, this discussion includes:  essentials of hydration, plating to cut calories, white and green calcium, nutrition labels, protein intake, and how to use internet resources to get the most from your health care appointments.     

12:00noon-1:30pm. $20 per person includes healthy lunch buffet.  Advance reservations required by Friday, June 19th, at which time they are considered final sale.
