Join us on a walk through one of America's most prominent African American neighborhoods. Some highlights on the tour include: the Apollo Theatre, a showcase for some of America's top talent such as James Brown and Ella Fitzgerald; old jazz spots like the Lenox Lounge and Dizzy Gillespie's home; the Mount Morris Park Historic District, with its magnificent examples of the Harlem brownstone; the site of the assassination attempt on Martin Luther King in the 1950s; The Hotel Theresa, home to the nation's top African American celebrities and where JFK discussed his Civil Rights policy; the site of Malcolm X's office; and Bill Clinton's office, where the president and candidate Barack Obama had their summit in 2008.

11:00am tour.  $25 per person.  The group will meet at the corner of 125th Street and Lenox Avenue (you are welcome to meet at The Club and travel with the group from there).  Advance reservation required by Tuesday, April 26th, at which time they are considered final sale.
