Philip Rickey, 1983 Cornell grad, AAP, sculpture, will lead a tour of his father, George Rickey's kinetic sculptures on Saturday April 23rd. Nine monumental sculptures are on view in the median of Park Avenue from 52nd to 56th Streets. There are also three sculptures on the rooftop sculpture garden at the Kasmin Gallery, 509 West 27th St, Chelsea, right next to the High Line. Rickey's last masterpiece is permanently installed in front of the News Corp Building, 48th Street and 6th Avenue.

The tour will walk up Park Avenue, taking time to look at each sculpture and talk about Rickey's development as a sculptor from 1949 to his death in 2002. For those who are interested in seeing all of the sculptures, Philip and the group will walk over to 6th Avenue and down to 48th Street to view, Annular Eclipse- Sixteen Feet. After that, those remaining will get Ubers or taxis to Chelsea to see three early sculptures on the High Line just south of the 29th Street stair. The Chelsea sculptures are up until April 30th and the Park Avenue Sculptures are up until May 9th.
