From Led Zeppelin to Hendrix: A Music History Tour of Greenwich Village
This walking tour focused on the figures, lives and personalities of the Village that shaped the music world. Stops include the homes of Bob Dylan and Joan Baez; the street that served as the cover of one of Led Zeppelin's greatest albums; where Bruce Springsteen debuted with the E Street Band; Jimi Hendrix's Electric Lady Studios; and sites associated with Billy Joel, Lady Gaga, The Rolling Stones, Barbra Streisand, Joey Ramone and John Lennon.
Meeting point: In front of the Washington Square Hotel at 103 Waverly Place. Subway: A,B,C,D,E,F to West 4th Street
2:30pm Tour, $30 per person. Advanced registration required by Thursday, June 5th at which point all reservations are final.
