Cornell at the New York City Ballet: Here/Now - Brunch, Lecture and Performance
Join the Cornell Club for a day at the ballet! Seasoned ballet patrons and first-timers alike will delight in contemporary ballet. This performance features four exemplary works from the 2017 Here/Now festival and "celebrates ballet today and what its future may hold". Over brunch, College of Arts & Sciences Senior Lecturer Byron Suber will teach us about ballet history and share insights on understanding and appreciating what you'll see on stage. Your experience features:
- A pre-performance lecture and discussion on "The Classical, the Neoclassical, the Modern, and the Post-Modern in New York City Ballet" by Byron Suber.
