Don’t miss this fantastic event, co-sponsored with the The New York Women’s Bar Association Foundation, Inc. featuring Linda Hirshman, social and legal historian, and author of Sisters in Law: How Sandra Day O’Connor and Ruth Bader Ginsburg Went to the Supreme Court and Changed the World. Hirshman’s newest book, Sisters in Law, tells the story of how the personal and professional relationship of Justices O'Connor and Ginsburg on the Supreme Court made more change than either could have dreamed of achieving alone.
Linda Hirshman is a retired distinguished professor of philosophy and women's studies at Brandeis University; she holds a law degree from the University of Chicago and a PhD in philosophy. She has written for a variety of periodicals, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, Slate, Salon, and The Daily Beast.
