In the 20-plus years he's been on television, Dave Price has had a first-person view of some of the most momentous events of our time: From the tragic events of September 11, which unfolded while he was on-air, to enduring Hurricane Katrina inside the Superdome with the people he was covering, to reporting in the rubble from the devastating earthquake in Haiti --  Dave's work has often taken him outside the comfortable confines of a broadcast studio. He has travelled to the mountains of Afghanistan and to the forward operating bases in Iraq, flown with the Blue Angels, canoed down the Amazon, ridden Harleys through the Australian Outback -- and done pretty much everything in-between, in every state in the nation and in close to 100 countries around the globe. Not bad for someone who did not enter the broadcasting business until he was almost 30.

In addition to his work in front of the camera, for over a decade Dave has traveled to war zones and military installations all over the world, volunteering his time to do stand-up comedy for troops during the holiday season.

If anyone has stories to tell, Dave does. Join us as Dave takes us behind the scenes for a candid look at his curious career, with all the highlights and lowlights which have shaped it.

Dave Price is an Emmy Award-winning weather anchor at WNBC in New York.  He was previously the network weather anchor at CBS News and provided weather coverage and feature reporting for both the "CBS Early Show" and "The CBS Evening News with Katie Couric". He began his broadcasting career at WSEE in Erie, PA after a life-changing decision to leave a successful career in corporate human resources. Price is a 1987 graduate of the ILR School at Cornell University and holds a Master's degree in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University's Teachers College. He works closely with several charitable organizations including the Inner-City Foundation of Fairfield County and he serves on the advisory board for Shatterproof, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to ending the devastation that addiction causes families.

Dave is a certified scuba diver, licensed pilot and avid photographer.  He lives in New York City with his wife, two children and two adopted rescue dogs.
