Agave Spirits Tasting & Education with Richard Betts

Enjoy an evening of Mexican inspired cuisine, several specially crafted cocktails, accompanied by an educational mezcal and tequila tasting led by Richard Betts, founder of Sombra Mezcal and Astral Tequila!

After an academic journey that included a BS, a MS and nearly a JD, Richard Betts found his way to his real love; wine. In the spring of 2003, Richard passed the Court of Master Sommeliers' Masters Exam on the first attempt, the ninth person ever to do so. He co-founded his own wine labels Betts & Scholl in 2003 and Scarpetta in 2006 as well as Sombra Mezcal in 2006. Richard is also the New York Times best-selling author of "The Essential Scratch & Sniff Guide to Becoming a Whiskey Know-It-All". 

6:00pm cocktail and hors d'oeuvres reception, 6:30pm tasting. $50 per person, includes cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, tasting, dessert, tax, and gratuity. Advance reservations required by Monday, September 11th, at which time they are considered final sale.
