Adventures with Wine: Malbec, Tango, and More at the Princeton Club
The essence of Tango is passion, elegance, originality and Argentina.
These qualities should also be well reflected in quality wines. In this wine presentation, we will highlight Argentina, deservedly famous for its Malbec. From the Northern Valleys to Cuyo ending in Patagonia, Nora Z. Favelukes will take you through specific terroirs of Argentina’s wine regions. The group will taste different wines that represent Argentina’s diversity from their emblematic Torrontés, to regional specialties and future classics. During the second half of this event, we will listen to tango music and enjoy a “Taste of Tango” dancing. All levels welcome!
Ms. Favelukes is the US Representative of Wines of Argentina and President of QW Wine Experts, a consulting firm she launched in 1995 dedicated to the nationwide public relations, marketing, and sales of imported fine wines to the U.S. market. A gifted public speaker, she has lectured for organizations such as: Society of Wine Educators, American Wine Society, American Institute of Food and Wine, Boston Wine Expo, Unified Vintners of America, Sommelier Society of America, Santa Fe Wine & Chile Fiesta, Washington International Wine Festival, Women for WineSense, Les Dames d’Escoffier, Vinitaly, New York Wine Expo, and Vinexpo Americas.
